Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still here. Yes, it's been almost 3 weeks since I posted here. Crazy how fast that time goes. It seems that every fall things start to rev up in all departments with the boys. This year is no exception, except we've added another sport, Tennis to the mix. To say our days are full would be an understatement. They are jam packed from start to finish. Tennis, Football, Lego Robotics, Piano, Awana, Outside Homeschool classes, regular homeschool classes and teaching my 3 year old something too. My middle schooler has started youth group at church, so the activities keep coming! Crazy, full, busy days... that's what we have. I have no idea what will happen when we add a 1 year old to the mix. We have an IRL name for him. Yay! Hint: It means Beloved. No online name for him yet.
Most pressing question right now is: Can anyone recommend a good camera? Not an instant thing. I want a good long range camera with fast shooting. I want to get some good photos of my active kids, and sometimes I am not able to be right on top of them to get a good shot. My new cheap camera stinks and I am looking for a good camera. Please leave a comment and let me know what you like or use!

I have a Sony A100 DSLR that I bought used and I love it. I think their current model is A300. It's a nice camera that allows you to buy other brand lenses to fit it. Most other cameras force you to buy their brand of lens.
I don't own one...yet. But the Canon Rebel (DSLR) comes highly recommended by not only one, but two, serious photographer friends! The Amazon reviews are good on that particular line as well.
As far as busy, I know what you mean. This year has been intensely busy for us. I keep living my life full speed ahead, looking forward to the next little break we might get (Christmas?).
I have one of the cheap cameras.. so no help from me on that one. :) Just wanted to say thanks for keeping us updated.
