I am excited that after today's co-op we all will be starting a much needed Christmas break in our family. Naturally we won't be completely stopping our schooling. We are a tad behind in our history and our Read-Aloud Classic Literature, so we will be continuing just that everyday of the break. But that is easy. The rest of the time will be filled with cookie making, and maybe some gingerbread houses or gingerbread men, and perhaps a little decorating too.
I WISH I could get a Christmas photo of the boys...but it has been so hard! We went to a local art museum that had a ton of Christmas trees, and I couldn't get one good photo. Hmmf. One child was always looking away or blinking or something. I wanted to try this weekend, but it rained all Sunday. So maybe this week I will get the motivation to try this again. I'm thinking New Year's cards are going to go out.... :-)
We have 6 trees up so far, but not all decorated. Yes, I know it's a little late, but I'm keeping everything up until well after the New Year. That way I can enjoy it! Oh and as to the 6 trees, well almost everyone has been given to us. Typically someone was throwing a tree away or giving an old tree away. They are not too pretty to look at... but I like that! I like transforming the discarded junk into something new and beautiful! I'll be taking photos of everything and posting it little by little.

Jackie, I am right there with you! I have YET to get a single decent (let alone "good") photo of our kids. Maybe next year I'll break down and actually let the professionals give it try. Maybe THEY can get Lexi to stop sticking out her tongue - Lord knows no one at our church could last Sunday. LOL! Here's to getting those cards out before Christmas Eve!!!
6 Christmas trees?!?! I can barely get one up and decorated! We still don't have our outside lights up and at this point I doubt it will be happening! Please post pictures of all the Christmas trees!!!!
Okay, I say use the photos of the boys. I have given up trying to get a good photo of all looking. I figure, that's a perfect representation of my life.... if they were all looking at the same spot at once, it would not be "normal" so why try to take a photo of it. :)
Please just skip to where we are in the Bible Study and go back and work on the other stuff as you can. I don't want you to miss it. God doesn't want you to miss it either! I promise you there's a blessing you're going to receive. We're going into a two week break so you might be able to fill in a little of your time there????
