2nd Leg. . .

I'm at my second airport. The last flight was a little hopper plane, and it was so turbulent! Oh my goodness, I was so thankful to be on the ground after that flight! Hopefully this long flight will be uneventful. I woke up with a migraine, and it still hasn't gone away. I've taken excederin as usual, but it isn't touching this thing. Well, actually, that's not true.... it has lessened it somewhat, but it's still there. I even ate a good lunch with protein to see if I could get rid of it. Really the only thing that will help is to lie down in bed with a cold compress, but that isn't possible. I am praying that it feels better over this long flight. I would hate to be miserable throughout the whole thing!

In other news, I just want to say that it's freezing up here! I really have acclimated to the southern climate in fall/winter. I've forgotten how much I detest the cold weather. I was dreading the freezing cold of Russia in November. But guess what? It's supposed to be 50, 51 and 54 degrees while we are there. With rain, but I don't care... it won't be 38 degrees. I will so take it!!

That's all for now.... see you on the other side of the world!

Hope the long flight goes well and your migraine disappears:) I bet nerves are probably playing into it as well. Hopefully you've got time once you arrive in Russia to rest up before going to get the as-yet-unrevealed-for-us little guy!

Praying that your migraine is gone now, but maybe going through passprt control there didn't help!! : )

It is wonderful to see dear friends that you don't get to see often anymore. My 2 dearest friends are in 2 different states very far from me. I miss them so bad. Glad you had a chance to see them.

And really, it is not that cold up here. It is just a matter of perspective. I don't like to sweat, so when it get into the 40's and 30's it feels a little good!

Praying!!
