We have an official court date!! All of our documents have headed over to Russia to be translated and go before the judge. We have booked airlines, and our hotel and will apply for our Visas ASAP. Okay, who am I kidding? I have done all of the above. Every last one of them. I have also been shopping for little gifts to give our orphanage director and the caregivers. I just have to pick up two more things, and find a used suitcase to bring along some things for the orphanage. More about that in a later post.
Back to our court date. We leave in a few weeks. Hopefully all will go well with court and then we come home and fly back ten days later to pick up our little munchkin. I'm not getting excited yet, but I'm sure I will soon.... (it usually takes me until I am on the plane to get excited... and then maybe not until he is officially declared ours in court.)
In other news Tiger Shark is soon to compete in his first USTA Jr. tennis tournament! I am excited and so nervous for him! The boys and I get up every morning early to go to the courts to practice. We found a used tennis ball machine normally $700 and we paid $200 for it. It is perfect for Jabber Jaw and Tiger Shark to practice hitting. Jabber Jaw is just learning and football is still his number one sport, but he loves to get up early and go to the court to hit. He's usually the first one up to check the weather and to come in and tell me that it looks like a good morning to practice. This from the kid who was so anti-tennis. I figure since he is there anyway, he might as well learn. :-) Small Fry just runs around the adjacent court collecting balls and checking out caterpillars. He also loves to drive his cars around the play area outside the court. It's been such a great thing and perfect cool weather in the mornings. Tiger Shark asked me one day, as we struggled to get everything to the court... (ball machine, balls, rackets, bottled water, Small Fry's backpack and blanket my purse and coffee etc.) "Mom what are we gonna do when the baby arrives?" LOL! I could only laugh and say, "we can probably kiss this goodbye." Just kidding....sort of. I guess we'll just have to see how we do when the baby comes, and if he will be easily portable and flexible. I would love to have him on my hip/back while I try to coach/teach the boys. Only time will tell.... :-)
I guess that's all for now. I know.... another small update. We literally are up to our ears in school these days and Lego Robotics is killing us with the homework! (okay it's killing me!) I know it's all worth it in the end, but I am so ready for that to be over already. The King Fish and the boys love it, but for me it's one more thing to add to my already long list of activities and things to get done schoolwise. Not so much fun.
Hopefully I will have some photos to post soon of our lives. I just need to take some! :-)

Melissa
I saw your title post in my sidebar and did a whoop!! That is great news! I don't think I can help you much with that overwhelmed feeling. The most comforting thing that I found for that was just reading over and over Isaiah 40. After reading that many times, I know that He can enable me to do what I need to do. : )
yay! congrats.. how exciting!
YAY! That was quick!! Congrats!!
